  • Responsibilities

    • Interface with Product Line Planning Manager to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
    • Review planned orders, creates requisitions for purchased items, and expedites approval process.
    • Participate in vendor relationships and looks for efficiencies in supply chain among vendors
    • Maintain and service third party purchases of materials via wholesale distribution
    • Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier
    • Track order acknowledgement, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal and external customers
    • Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs
    • Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are closed
    • Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports nonconformance’s
    • Work with finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
    • Identify opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies
    • Contribute to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the local supplier base



    Qualifications and Skills


    • 3 years experience in a related field
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Preferred experience with Epicor or similar enterprise level ERP system
    • Familiarization with automated systems for inventory control  
    • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Workflow planning and decision-making
    • Building strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent Oral and written communication skills
